Superäiti (Mäkelä)
Illustrations for the children's book Superäiti. The book tells a lovely story about the life of a single mother and her son Milo, and the power of imagination. "One parent is a coder, the other a driver, but Milo’s mum is a Supermum (Superäiti)! At night, she reads criminals’ minds with her X-ray vision and rescues people in trouble. By day, she’s just an ordinary mum who wants to make her son’s birthday special. Milo dreams of celebrating with his whole class at Simo’s Adventure Land, but Mum suggests a party at home instead, and promises it will be just as amazing. With funny games, homemade decorations, bargain sweets and a home-baked cake, no one seems to notice the difference. But what about the present? Will Milo finally get his very own smartwatch phone?"
